Abstract

This research has been conducted to assess the impact of the role of top management and employees on the project’s performance. The inside and outside world of projects has become very unpredictable due to the continuous change in demands of the stakeholders, who have a direct impact on the project. The major aim of this research is to determine the impact of the role of top management and employees on project performance. The review of the literature has proved that top management and employees are internal stakeholders, and their roles, responsibilities and working attitude have a direct impact on the project and its performance. The hypothesis is developed by keeping in mind the literature review. After this, quantitative data is collected through questionnaires from 250 research respondents. The quantitative research method brings effectiveness, reliability, and validity in the research. SPSS is used to analyze quantitative data. Descriptive tests, demographic tests, correlations tests, t-tests, and regression tests are applied to gain the desired results. This research answers all research questions, achieves all research objectives, and accepts the hypothesis. This research will motivate different companies in the world to make reasonable changes in the roles and responsibilities of employees towards a project to make them successful. Furthermore, managerial implications, research limitations and future indications are also discussed in the study.
